An update

I know it has been a long while, but i am still here. I have just been really busy as i am sure everyone is. I posted some recent pictures of Hailey swimming in our pool. I haven't even posted since we moved, but we bought a house that is 2 miles from Brandon's parents. So it is within walking distance in the winter. It has a pool but we have just now been able to enjoy it as it had a crack that was leaking water under the house, we had to repair that, we repaired the pool light as it was broken and had the tile cleaned as it was pretty gross. We also had the microwave quite working and our sewer back up all the same week. So that was a pretty crazy week. Tiffany came out and visited us in March, we went to OK in APril as my mom had another stroke and this one was much worse than the others. She was discharged from an in patient rehab facility the day after Easter and is at home recieving in home therapies. She is stable, but has difficulty with feeding, dressing, carrying on a conversation, etc. So we have a long ways to go. Brandon has been traveling alot and i have been working alot. Oh yea, i am pregnant as well. =) I am due August 8, 2010 and we are having a girl. As you can see it has been busy. Hailey birthday is coming up and she will be three. Below are the pics from this weekend. We went swimming, well Hailey and Brandon and Uncle Brett did, i got only feet wet. Everyone had a lot of fun and Brandon tried out the water slide. We love our new house, but with it comes a LOT of work. We are still working on getting the grass how we want it and trimming bushes and the 15 or so palm trees, and one lemon and one lime tree. So it has been a blessing, but lots of work. One last things, we are currently foster parents for two black labs, Misty and Buster. If you know anyone that wants to adopt them let us know. We have had them for a week now and they are very well behaved. I am not your typical dog lover by any means, but these two are growing on me, but not too much becuase we do want to find them a permanent home. okay, that is the quickest update i can give. enojoy the pics!

I will try to update more often, which as long as i hit once a month that would be a big improvement from the last four months.

Update, Christmas Tree, and First Haircut

Okay so i haven't posted in a while. I will update below, but first today was an important day as Hailey got her first haircut. She is two and half and we still had not cut those first curls, so here are some pictures of the event. They are backwards becuase i am not good at uploading them in the right order. So here she is after the haircut, it doesn't look much different from the front, but we did cut off quite a bit off the back.

So before we got her hair cut and after church we went and got the Christmas tree for pops and grandma's house. These photos are backward as well. So her is the tree on the back of the car. I had never done this before so i thought it was kinda fun.

So time for the update. Hailey's surgery went well, i posted some pics on facebook. It was weird being in the hospital and having Hailey not be herself. She had a such a hard with the iv pole as she would forget it was attached to her. Additionally, she HATED and i mean HATED getting her blood pressure taken. She didn't care for the pain meds, so they were using her blood pressure as a gage of her pain along with other things, but Hailey would kick cry and scream anytime they took her blood pressure, which would make a high false reading and they would have to take it again. They had to take it every four hours, and Hailey would always inform them "I already did it". When they told her it was time for it. Other than that, three days after surgery she was totally back to herself. And now she is a happy little girl who sleeps much better and no longer has a continuous runnny nose and cough.

I am working two jobs now, one with Synergy Pediatric Therapy and the other for the Peoria Unified School District. I really enjoy both jobs and all the kiddos i see. We are moving in next weekend and cleaning all during this week. We are still trying to get our condo rented out, so please pray that that happens quickly. We are so blessed with the deal and the house that we got. We have a huge backyard, which is rare in Phoenix. So that is why i haven't posted as we have just been swamped.

We are headed home to OK for Chirstmas this year. So hopefully i can met up with some of my friends.

Hailey's 2 year old Pictures

So we are a little behind with getting Hailey's 2 year old pictures made, as her birthday was in May. But better late than never right? We went and had them made this past week. She is so grown up and a ton of fun. She enjoyed taking the pictures, although, she continues to want to stick her tongue out at the camera. However, the photographer got some cute pictures with her actually smiling and no tongue out.

She wouldn't stand on the red spot, so i put my hand there and she LOVED standing on my hand, it was so funny.

Brandon bought the flower for her and she was so happy daddy bought her a flower, it was really cute. WE still have them in a vase.

Also, i start working on Oct. 5th. I am excited and sad at the same time. I know that Hailey will enjoy going to daycare, but it still makes me feel somewhat guilty. I always go back and forth, when i am working i miss Hailey, but when i am with Hailey i miss working. At least the job i have will provide flexibility, as i will be working for Synergy Pediatric Therapy. They are a great company. And i really like everyone i work with. I can set my own hours and i am going to try to be done by 4:30 each day. We will see how it works out.

And one last thing. Hailey will have her tonsils and adenoids out Oct. 19th. She will have to stay one night in the hospital. We will keep you posted on how she does.

Graduation!!

So i graduated from Physical therapy school on Friday, August 8th.  I am so thankful to be done with school.  Despite graduation, i still have to take the national physical therapy exam NPTE.  I have passed the AZ juriprudence exam and can't wait to pass the NPTE and be done studying for awhile.  My computer  is in the shop as the power supply went out recently.  So i am on my inlaws computer.  (sorry no pictures).  We are living with my inlaws for the time being as we are hoping to rent our condo to someone and then buy a house closer to my inlaws.  We love spending time with them as does hailey, so it has been fun so far living with them.  Hailey loves playing with Oreo, their dog, and climbing up into pop's (brandon's dad) chair.  She also enjoys baking with grandma.  She had so much fun around my graduation as Brandon and Tiffany, Angela, My mom and dad, and grandma all came to visit.  It was such a wonderful time.  Well, once i get my computer back i will post some pictures from graduation and of Hailey.  I havne' posted any recent pictures.  She pretty much looks the same, her hair still hasnt' grown much.

Quick Update

So i know i have been MIA lately, but i have now completed my last clinical and am set to graduate August 8. I can't believe that three years ago i started this journey and now here i am with a wonderful husband, perfect daughter, and about to be done with school. Two of my sisters, a brother in law, my parents, and my grandma are all coming to my graduation. It should be a ton of fun. Although i am excited to graduate, i really can't wait until i pass my national board exam. i am planning on taking it in September, so i can start working in October. I will update more on me later, but here are some recent pics of Hailey, recent meaning JUNE. She is getting so big and she is hilarious. i need to post some video of her, becuase she loves to dance and entertain. Here she is getting ready to go swimming. She loves the water and will "swim" around with just her floaties on. She also is in swim lessons four days a week.

My friend Wes Straehla came to visit and we were hoping for a cute pictures with Hailey and him, but it didn't work out. She was tired and did not cooperate. She can say Mr. Straehla and it is adorable.

Since it is summer time, we have been eating corn on the cob quite frequently and Hailey LOVES it.

My meet up with MMB Melly

I am still writing about my trip to OK, and IL and i am almost done with the adventures of our trip. We did take a 3 week vacation so there is alot to blog about. This little section is about our meet up with MMB Melly as the title states. So MMB stands for May Miracle Bees, which is a message board i got involved with when i was pregnant with Hailey. Little miss Melanie and Hailey both had the same due date, although Melanie was born a year before Hailey. ANyways, we have met up with Sarah and Melanie once before and while were in OK we decided to hook up again. Here is a picture of the visit before on bottom and our visit this time on top. They have both grown up so much.

We had such a nice visit. Sarah and Melanie were nice enough to meet up with us in Stillwater and we took the girls to a park and then to Chick-fil-A. The girls had such a fun time and Sarah and i got to catch up too. Melanie and Sarah gave Hailey this really cute bucket with her name on it and flowers with foam stickers and a color books, crayons, stickers, a pinwheel, a candy necklace, and much more. Hailey LOVED it and it was so thoughtful of them. Also, while i am talking about Sarah, she has her own business making really cute sippy cups and straw cups. She makes an insert and it goes in the cup and it has the child's name on it. Hailey has three of them and i LOVE them. They are so cute. Birthday Parties

So i thought i would post some pictures of two of Hailey's three parties. She had on in Stillwater, OK on her birthday, one in Lawton, OK, and then one in Peoria, AZ. I only have pictures of the ones in OK. SO here goes:

Aunt Tippie thought it would fun to make a banana chocolate cake as Hailey LOVES bananas and chocolate. So here is Hailey helping to mash the bananas for the cake. she LOVED it.

ALthough Hailey and Ally got along so well, Hailey and the baby maddy (BABY as hailey calls her), well lets just say it was more of a love hate relationship. Hailey walked around always saying No, Baby, No when Maddy threw food on the floor, tried to get into newspaper, touched a toy Hailey was playing with, threw any toys. But Haiely really did love her, giving her hugs and kisses and she still asks about baby. =) But isn't maddy so cute, look at those eyes.

SO this was the end of the night. All of the girls were very tired, but it was a fun birthday party. Also, the older girls, Brandi (mom of 4 girls), Tiffany, and I stayed up and watched the finale of Grey's Anatomy.

I also took some cute pictures of her the other day that i will try to post. Also, our friend from OK came to visit us tonight and we got a picture of him and Hailey.
